The tools I use
After testing a lot of different configurations and many different brands I have chosen a reliable and highly precise combination of elements to shoot in any environment.
My Arri Artemis Cine / Broadcast sled has been my trustful companion through numerous shoots and never disappoints. I love all the options it offers to handle power issues and its very practical micrometric knob.
The GPI pro arm needs no introduction. It's the most trustworthy piece of equipement ever built to operate a steadicam. No sand storm, no tropical rain or snow blizzard can stop this arm from doing it's job; carry any rig that need's carrying.
The Arri vest fits me perfectly and allows me as much freedom of movement a metal harness can. It's detachable pads allow a good clean after every shoot which is a real plus when working in close quarters.
The CineMonitorUHD8 X-SBL Evolution is a rugged, fully sealed super bright monitor. It's vast diversity of tools help me build precise narrative shots.
The Betz tools WAVE is my horizon assistant. Today horizon cannot be an issue with steadicam, level has to be perfect at all times if it needs to be.
I also own a Inovativ steadicam cart. A luxury item that brings confort and independence to my workflow.
